Seems we’ve been going to a lot of weddings this year and I prefer to pack lightly and efficiently. Here’s my fool-proof wedding guest checklist for a carry on suitcase! My tried and true only-bring-a-carry-on:
- Roll, roll, roll. Always wear your heftiest clothing to travel in to save space
- Packing dresses allows you to roll and pack more efficiently
- Stuff jewelry in shoes or other available crevices
- Pack makeup/contacts/lotion 3 oz only in your bigger purse that you’re carrying on
Blow-dry day before travel to avoid packing a blow dryer. Braid or curl for rehearsal dinner/evening before wedding so you’ll have extra body and texture to work with for you hair day of event. Hair is always better and easier to style day or two after washing hair.
